This family has this gift in abundance, and the love and joy in their home is tangible as soon as you enter!

They recently invited me back to their home for a maternity and newborn session, for their second sweet baby! Energy levels were running high - a combination of anticipation of her imminent arrival … and life with a two-year-old! But so was the tenderness, as this beautiful family prepared to welcome their daughter.

And then, three became four, and they made the change look effortless! Life was still full of birthday parties to attend, afternoons at the pool and evenings at the playground - but now there was a new little one to snuggle. And she is absolutely perfect!

This session was only a few short weeks ago, but already, this little sweetheart has grown and changed! There are so many things to look forward to - the sound of her laughter as she watches her big brother, gorgeous smiles, cheering on her accomplishments as she learns to roll over, sit and crawl. But I’m so grateful we captured these memories when she first came home - to remember how tiny she was and how she fit so snugly inside her mama’s arms.
